The technology exists to improve fuel eficiency across the board by 5 to 10% easily and by as much as 20% and more! No reason why we don't have vehicles on the road that get 50, 70, 100 mpg and more!

You're so right, they don't seem to do anything without an incentive! When I was a kid, I was modifying or enhancing vehicles to get 10 to 25% better mileage! So are others. I can do better today!
